I was born in Whitstable, Kent, UK, and for the more precise 51.21 Deg North,1.01 Deg East. at the start of the 2nd world war so I am now obviously retired. I have been a keen photographer all of my life having dabbled in all facets of photography from social events to industrial photography. I taught photography and darkroom techniques, part time, at Maidstone Art College in the early 70's. My equipement comprises Canon 20d Sigma 50-500 tele lens with a 2X converter a Tokina 400mm lens, Canon 50Dand 7D camera + five lenses, a Canon G7 and Olympus 10mp pocket camera I manage to get out once or twice a week, and favourite places are Sheppey, Oare Faversham, Cliffe, and Stodmarsh.
